Chase & SHep’s Summer CamP of Horrors!
Series Premiered Sheptember 17th, 2021
The dudes then looked at each other and said,“What holiday is next?”
“…Summer?”
They then set out to make a 10-episode summer camp horror comedy that was ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ meets ‘The Evil Dead’ to release by the 4th of July…
September 17th and two episodes shy, the first Chase & Shep original series premiered.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of a bunch of first timers and the graciousness of all the people that let us film at their locations the series saw the light of day.
I like to think we learned a lot that summer.
Such as, “We need more help.”

Released April 20th, 2022
And more help we got.
Our team expanded, our film family grew and Earth-217 Studios was born.
We took all of those new resources and filmmaking lessons from making ‘Summer Camp’ and applied them to our next project, which was, of course, another sketch show about smoking weed.
But hey, it is our most watched video to date.

This one is age-restricted too.
Presumably because of the smoking again.

The Exorcism of Chase & SHep
Released Friday, October 13th, 2023
The dudes ended their initial run of shorts with this spooky little adventure that went on to do big things.
This was the first short we ever submitted to festivals and wound up being selected three for three! (We quit submitting to maintain our perfect record.)
We were even nominated for Best Midnight Horror at the Chicago Horror Film Festival!
This project ended up being the culmination of years of work and collaboration.
From the initial 2-3 guys behind the camera
to meeting Camp Nostalgic Studios
to a little cameo in a locally made horror anthology,
Exorcism of Chase & Shep was created.
And most importantly of all, this was the first time the dudes got to live out their dream and see a film they made on the big screen.
It was a magical moment. We may have lost Best Midnight Horror but we won the room.
And that was fucking rad.
